Pete, your protea looks better than all the ones I saw in the botanical gardens in South Africa :gnthb:. It must be all that love you put in to tending your plants. :)

    Brilliant!

My problem each time I go out into the garden with the camera is that I don't know when to stop . Here are a load more. :hehe:

The hostas are doing well and, as the tomatoes seemed to get on very well with them last year, we have put pots of toms between them again.

    Hanging baskets are looking colourful.

The bee orchids have graced us with their presence again this year.

You can see why they named this one oxalis triangularis.

Some more of our self-seeded campanula.

Blackberries look set to have a good crop this year.

Lychnis have self-seeded themselves in the veg plot again this year.

And the verbascum chaxii are still spreading themselves through the veg plot as well. There must be over 100 of them now.

Our late planted sweetpeas are just coming into flower.

The alstromeria seem to like being with the sweetpeas.

    A nice colour contrast.

This peony reminds me of fluffy cream.

    What's this? :)

So many lovely pics everyone. Its difficult to pick individual ones out. But I have to say Shiney's Lychnis makes a superb shot. And, as usual, I can only drool at Victoria's and Strongy's exotica.

Pete, I just admire everything you do in your garden and thank you for sharing that as mine have gone months ago.

You should really be here in this climate with your expertise and talent for plants.
... perhaps a thought for retirement?

All looking fantastic, I like your Pokers Woo and your Cannas Vicky.
I have one Steritzia Pete but I guess it might flower by the time you retire!!:D

    Callistemon White Anzac, first flower.

Callistemon Viminalis, way behind yours Vicky. It did have twenty or so buds around Christmas but were all burned in the extreme cold.

Geranium (Pelargonium) Orange Ice, a nice bicolour.
