    Kathy that landscape is beautiful- it must bring the water colourist out in people.

    Hi Pete, you certainly grow some unique looking plants!! TBH they freak me out a bit! Is it South African as well?

    Do you actually like the look of them or do you grow them for the challenge?

    My little green corner- this is at the very top end of the garden which backs onto a wood/ copse.
    I love the tonal greens and the mix of foliage. I rehabilitated this area earlier in the spring- by cutting back a fatsia, and by removing a young and vigorous climbing rose which had teeny insipid green/yellow flowers. Sadly an elderly and unproductive pink rose also hit the compost.

    I cut back several leggy honeysuckle and clematis and they are all now doing well, as are several large ferns which have established themselves there.

    Thats from the warmer parts of the Americas Melinda.

    I think that one is pretty good looking, I do have a few that you might class as strange or ugly, but as you say I enjoy the challenge.:D
