Strongylodon, what you have done to that backyard corner is so charming to the eye and so cheerful and welcoming to the soul! Great! :dbgrtmb:
I have taken the liberty of posting yours and Jenny's baskets on the Bulgarian forum: there's a lot to learn from the arrangements.

Dim, I'm not keen on orchids, but your efforts on this 'binned' one were incredibly rewarding!

And longk has the nasty habit of posting certain weird 'things', which trigger no reaction in me as they border or my conceptual ignorance..., and then, just ONE incredible plant that grips me by the throat and urges me to press the 'Like' link: the Zauschneria (Californian Fuchsia) in this case!
      Never mind 'the habit'...

I have my first ORNAMENTAL grass in flower this season. Now I am convinced that one must have them physically, to appreciate their beauty. Pictures are misleading as they cannot render that mystical, fluid, semi-transparent cloud. It's an actual shape, a volume, but not a solid one, as with hedge plants or shrubs.
      Very nice and inspiring...

      Deschampsia caespitosa

I'm of the opinion, Jenny, if my memory serves me right, that the name of the Cranesbill is Patricia :snork:

The possibility of you being "trying" never crossed my mind, Strongy, but then again......:heehee:

What a fine array of gorgeous plants Simbad. All ones we don't often see in "ordinary" gardens.
I love that Agastache Golden Jubilee:imphrt:

                Were they easy or difficult?

Very easy Jenny, I'll save you seed if you like?, it does like well drained soil though, I tried it in several areas and this is the best where the soils got the best drainage.
