I've just popped out into the garden and checked to find that I have one flower of Bishop of Llandaff among the 20 or so I've got in pots from having sowed them a couple of years ago, plenty more buds on the way.

Verbascum chaixii is starting to flower. The bees love them so we have over a hundred spikes in the veg plot. It grows up to approx. 4ft

Whereas the common mullein Verbascum grows about 10ft high but is still very pretty.

Cephalaria is another of my favourites. Such a delicate pale yellow. It grows approx. 8ft high

Some of the Hostas are starting to flower

White and pale coloured flowers seem to be doing well

Philadelphus virginal. A less cloying scent than some others and I much prefer it.
