      @wiseowl
      The Treasure Trove has done really well, it had reached high up into a field maple until the land owners removed the field maple 18 months ago. It is certainly disease resistant as I have never seen any blackspot on it. Blackspot loves the warm damp conditions down here in Devon and I think it has finally done for my Peace. Any suggestions for a blackspot resistant Peace alternative.

        Good morning @NigelJ my friend,try "Love and Peace" it can get a little leggy but it is much more disease resistant and its parentage is Seedling × Peace

          Although the roots don't grow thick they are very tenacious and will gradually spread under the edges of the cracks in the patio. Over a period of time they can take advantage of any weaknesses in the patio. This doesn't really matter if you intend leaving the plants there :noidea:

              Our established (massive!) Buddleia tree has bloomed this week, smell is heavenly. Terrible terrible photo sorry (distracted by the Comma butterfly!). I'm not well versed on the varieties of Buddleia Davidii but this one with its purple flowers produce absolutely intoxicating smells (we used to have a white flowering one in the family garden which smelled differently and less powerful!).
