    Keep it moist @martin-f and preferably somewhere cool and shady. They don't like bright sun or temperatures above 20°.

      Part of the border I have recently replanted, starting to fill in now. Penstemon Garnet - sedum Jose aubriene - penstenum rubra behind penstemon - pervoskia somewhere and various other plants. I did plant some allium summer drummer around there no sign of flowers yet :fingers crossed:. Last year its was just a giant clump of rudbeckia goldstrum which I move just to the left of this picture.

        I love this grass ? growing in the pond any idea what ts called please its got little seeds coming from it.

            Perki I had some of these red hot pokers and they did flower lovely until my staff found them a nice place for [​IMG]

                Verdun you've added some :wub2: pictures of your plants and nice to see them...my hubby went to a builders yard where we had the stuff from for our front fencing but he also does plants and he told me H as some lovely rare grasses in...he explained one to me...it looks like cordyline leaves but on top as a lovely flowing top which resembles a ponytail...got any idea :scratch:

                        Verdun next time he's up there i'll ask him to take a pic but just found a beautiful image on google of the name you mentioned and I think your correct...i'll show him when he comes back :)

                        @Verdun he's just come back showed him the image not them...they carry purple on top...i'll get him to take pic's next time he's out. :)

                          I have huge clumps of uliginosa but prob 2 weeks off flowering at moment so you are ahead of me longk. :) They make plants 8' or 9' high and flower right into autumn.
