Not very exciting I know but last year it was September before anything showed. There are about a half dozen buds already to bloom. Fingers crossed for a good display.

Gary it looks nice mate but i'd give it some water in the day as the leaves look a bit wilted or is it me

IMG_4086.JPG Persicaria Orangefield.....that clump is about 8' wide so makes quite an impact. No maintenance, no deadheading and flowers into autumn

Ha ha Logan. Not really :).

Re persicaria, there are some real beauties out there. Check out Fat Domino for example which is flowering now. Will post pictures when more full of flowers. I have a few varieties here including a white one. They all make big weed free clumps:)

Here's how my two plants are doing -

My peas are coming along, I took a pod and popped it open earlier and they are still immature so I think I'll give the fatter ones a few more days and they should be great!

(Some of the plants that are on either side are drying out and I think it's because they were up against the plastic pot so I inserted a curved stick to try and stop them from touching the sides).

                            IMG_20180706_162822.jpg

My morning glories have not flowered yet but they have grown healthily, I don't think they will flower until the next month or two.

                            IMG_20180706_162805.jpg

And this is my mother-in-laws rockery, the gardener does this but I think he does a good job of it =]

                            IMG_20180706_162843.jpg

But there we go, nothing astronomical but I am otherwise proud that I managed to grow many of two types of plants fairly healthily being restricted to using pots.

Hello Verdun I have to agree with @Logan nice to see plants with no worry of maintenance but are stunning to the eye :love30:
Actually I think you've done well as some plants find pots restricting especially the ones I've brought and within a year they've had to be planted in the garden :dunno:...the garden looks nice
