Not great, kind of a metallic scent to my nose.
Prefer Epiphyllum, which are now finished, but got some buds on Selenicereus which have a nicer scent.

A few clumps around the garden ....good value performer

Oh, a big thanks to Shiney who recommended alstroemeria Indian Summer to me a few weeks back. Just starting to flower and the foliage is delightful. Will post a picture when I can get back out there :)

Someone gave us this rose as a thank you and it's labelled Kronenbourg. I thought they were red roses. Any ideas @wiseowl ?

My apologies for going off topic its @shiney 's fault:heehee:

Hello @shiney yes I have seen this many times over the years,Kronenbourg is a sport of "Peace"
Rose it can lose its red colour when its young and when its old hope this helps you my friend:smile:

A sport is a naturally occurring genetic mutation. Some types of roses produce sports more often than others, but a sport can occur with virtually any rose. Peace is a popular rose that has produced a number of well-known sports.

              Additional cultivar names:
              'Flaming Peace'
              'MACbo'
              'Kronenbourg'

Bloom size: Very large: 6" or more
              Bloom shape: High-centered
Petal count: very full: 40+ petals
              Rose bloom color: Red blend
              Rebloom: Good
              Class: Hybrid tea
Extra Color Info: Red blend, yellow reverse
Growth Habit: Medium, 3-4 feet, upright
              Fragrance: Mild
Hybridizer & year: Discovered by Samuel Darragh McGredy IV, 1966
              -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A sport is a naturally occurring genetic mutation. Some types of roses produce sports more often than others, but a sport can occur with virtually any rose. Peace is a popular rose that has produced a number of well-known sports. And some of the Koster family of polyanthas have multiple generations of sports in their lineage. It might seem that sports occur more often in certain gardens, but if you look closely you're likely to discover sports on your roses, even if you only grow a relatively small number.

Some sports are unstable, reverting almost immediately to the parent. Others may be somewhat stable, with partial or full reversion likely over time. And other sports are quire stable, though even these may ultimately show some signs of reversion if watched long enough. Sports can take a number of different forms; two of the most common are sports that are virtually identical to the parent except for the color of the bloom and climbing sports, where the bloom may be the same but the rose mutates into a climbing version of the variety. It isn't my intention to go into the genetics of sports here, but rather to give you a different perspective on sports.

Two plants with similar flowers, both same family but different growth habit.
Podranea ricasoliana, almost a climber but not quite.

And Chilopsis linearis, desert willow, pretty much a tree, if you let it.
I've smelt the scent before, but this afternoon at close to 100F the scent was filling the air.

This Echinocereus has been outside for 5 years or so, and still manages to flower.
