        Have you tried digging it up and dividing/replanting the newer corms, Michael? I was amazed to discover that they're just like Crocosmia and that they benefit from being tidied and the newer corms replanted in good soil. What colour is yours?

          It was a pre planted basket bought for £22.50 from a local Charity / Nursery called Friary Gardeners . They employ "local people with severe learning dificulties " who come every day to help prick out / pot on / and care for a wide range of things that they grow.

            Thanks for the offer, but as I say, not a plant that would normally grab my attention its the position on the slope? and hanging over that sets them off.

                        I dug it up and moved it last year, maybe it's taking a while to settle, although I only moved it about 2 feet.
