@CarolineL mine only went in last year and so not yet.
Which Zanthoxylum have you got and what time of year should it flower?
I might have more on Zanthoxylum later this week.

Hi @NigelJ - unfortunately I can't remember which - @noisette47 kindly gave me the seed.

@Plantminded Lythrum always amazes me. The native salicaria grows happily with its feet in water and yet I keep seeing it thriving in 'dry' conditions in gardens.

Yes it’s one of those amazing plants that prefers moist soil but will cope well with dry conditions once established, and my soil is very dry!

My Just Joey rose has been extraordinarily good this year. I have just brought the last three flowers in because heavy rain is due to arrive at midnight and last throughout tomorrow morning.

Each of the flowers is 17cms in diameter. And the perfume is beautiful. IMG_5846.jpeg

The view across the front garden is now dominated by the Anthemis 'E.C.Buxton'. Mrs LS is up the stepladder tending to her baskets. The tall stands of Calamagrostis grass have been decimated by the constant rain weighing down the plumes and breaking the stems. We're harvesting plenty of sweet-peas off those wigwams though.

I think it was perhaps Asarina.
                Or Maurandya.

These are last years plants overwintered in the greenhouse, but one plant in a sheltered corner as survived in the ground but very slow to come back in this dreary weather.
Not looked but I think they make tubers?

I dont know about that name, I just grew it from seed last year.

Just looked that up and It appears to be a different plant Rehmannia.
