    I like minulus strongy, but are the flowers short lived?

    Especially if it gets a bit dry.

    Or have the plant breeders been getting involved?

    It was a T&M packet and said it was found in the Andes or somewhere so I presume it is not 'bred'. The flowers are not that long lived and the colour is a bit more washed out than I hoped .

    Oh, pete ... my BoPs are resting now and yours just coming into their glory .... and another double ..... :thumb: Your Beaucarnea is ACE but I think it'ss about 20 years with you????? Mine looks good too but much younger. :)

    Roders ... . you're just jealous because you don't have any of this invasive pink Evening Primrose ..... :p

    Pete, my Caesalpinia from Waco is still alive and well ... but next year me'thinks.

    My Black Eye Susans (yellow, orange and the blue) are just hanging on in the heat ....

    Every single one of them is just perfect. That bears breeaches and that aubitum my favourites, I`ll never get all these things in my garden, but these two are on my working list.

    And the photos themselves are very detailed.

    :thumb: Here are a few flowers of the moment...

    My beautiful double Lily "Lucy Locket"... The scent from it is almost overpowering when more than one bloom is out.. This is the first one this year to open..!!

    Another favourite of mine are the Evening Primroses. I always have a clump somewhere in the garden..!! They smell lovely in the cool of a summers evening..!! Not that we have had many...!!!!!:rolleyes:

    Last but not least... I have no idea what this is.. I do remember the seeds falling in my pocket in Canada...:rolleyes::D It is hardy, stems about 4' tall & these little flowers that only last a day, but they are so delicate...

    There's a lot of chips or mash there ... or is it roast, pete? :D I think it will be next week before the Chilopsis blooms ... but I'll put a pic up.

    Love you lily Marley. My Echeveria cuttings are still small but two of the three have bloomed. :thumb:
