    Robert it looks like a Crocosmia which is sometimes called Montbretia though not sure which one yours is.It looks a bit like one of the ones in my garden.Cracking photo though:thumb:

    It all started with a few bulbs from a friend.
    I now have to thin them quite seriously every year.

    I know what you mean Robert, if your not careful they can take over your garden. Mine have flowered exceptionally well this year. (they must like monsoon weather):D:D:D 02

    Lucky you, capney, I never had any luck with them. Lovely shot with that dark background.

    IMP, lovely dahlias, you can go into competition with Bob.
