I like that lysimachia Stingo, I only have a small spreading plant, yours looks like a shrub.

This is the only dahalia I still have, I like the bright red, "Bishop of LLandaff" sorry Wales if I spelt that wrong.

    thanks pete

I think thats what it is anyway.

It's tall with dark coloured leaves and stems topped with small yellow flowers, and it has spread a bit.

I've never had any luck with dahlias unfortunatley as they have such wonderfull colours.

Here's another of my flashy American fuchsias. This one is called Deep Purple:

Doing really well in the window box as althoughit gets a lot of sun, the plant foliage shades it. [IMG]

Lovely elainefiz, is this up at your allotment ?

Liz, you do a cracking line in fuschias, almost tempted to try some of your flashy American fuchsias.

Elainefiz, lovely pictures, the hollyhock looks like an exotic jungle flower.
Pete and BM, yes they are large, Bella Rosella is the biggest this year, about 2-3' centre and 4-5" overall. Deep Purple is a bit smaller but much bushier and freer flowering.
At the other end of the spectrum I have La Campanella, the whole flower, although double, is about 1" across.
