Lilium Michauxii, grew these from seed last year can't believe how quickly they've flowered, even have lots of little bulblets in the leaf axils, the dreaded lily beetles had a nibble though.

'Margaret Merril' is on its second flush of flowers. I think the slight discolouration at the edges is probably down to the monsoon weather we've had recently. :(

'Gloire de Dijon' grows around my front door:-

I love the electric blue of Salvia patens. It's not particularly hardy, so I grow it in a pot and protect it from the frost in the winter. Behind it are the little frothy flowers of lemon verbena, Lippia citriodora:-

This confused double primrose seems to think it's spring:-

It's weird, Pete. The same thing happened last year, but I don't remember ever seeing it before that. The world's gone mad!

My Gaillardia Fanfare is still going strong. Got a shot of an unopened flower in the background of this one which is just as interesting as the opened flower. It's a great plant if you like unusual flowers.

The miniature water lily in my pond, Nymphaea Pygmaea Helvola, is still putting up flowers.

And one of my Sempervivum, Houseleeks, has put up a spire of flowers. They remind me of something from the time of dinosaurs. Very odd and interesting.

Edit. Forgot to add my Verbena Bonariensis.

just bought a few Heuchera 'Georgia Peach' to finish off a bed against a wall (there are a few shrubs, and evergreen star jasmine planted on the full length of the wall)

                  Heuchera 'Georgia Peach'

the bed is narrow (700mm wide and in full sun - south facing)

the bed edging is planted the full length with black ornamental grass (Ophiopogon planiscapus Nigrascens) and wanted something to compliment the black ...

I really wanted to buy solar power Heucherella (yellow leaved), but could not find any on ebay, so opted for a reddish one instead .... as the bed is in full sun, I was limited with my choices as many Heuchera prefer shade/semi-shade

I like these Heuchera as they look good all year
