      Lovely full borders Wiseoldowl :)

Is that Eryismum on the right hand corner ? If so I have just planted one myself and cant wait for another couple of seasons for it to fill out. My mum has one and says hers flowers most of the year. Not sure how common this is though with them ?

Hi Sam Thank you yes its Erysimum (Bowles Mauve) I have tried Bowles Yellow and thats also a Cracking plant, the Mauve last right through and beyond Christmas, but after about 3 years thats about its life in my soil, but easy enough to take cuttings,June-August,they are related to the Cabbage so its best not to put them in soil that has had Club Root in.:)

Yes my mum has brought the yellow one this year but dont think she is as overly impressed with that one to be honest - will see how hers grows first before I find try and find anymore space !

Had to google 'club root' but think I am safe there :)

      Hi, cumberland ...

There are Mimosa trees ... the ones I call Mimosa have pink fluffy flowers and are blooming here at the moment. The Brits call them Albizias ... but they are also known as Acacias ... of which there are many species all with yellow or yellow/whitish flowers (they bloom here in March).

I think there is a houseplant called a Mimosa or the Sensitive Plant which, when touched closes up ... just to confuse you. :hehe:

You are not thick, just young and learning and we are here to help you. :yho:

Oops, you suddenly popped up there Aaron when I was about to post .... :D

This is a shot of my front garden. Its funny how every year is different, last year the Lupins were really good. This year they are rubbish - but something else always takes over.
