Hi Melinda, I've been very busy trying to catch up on things that were neglected because of the open days.

The corn has shot up in the last week or so. Your poppies are fabulous :dbgrtmb:. I especially like the white one which you carefully bred. :yess:

Tell me, with your avatar, why is she wearing her IUD on her head? :loll: :loll:

Louise, we haven't the faintest idea :o. We threw some seeds in the ground over ten years ago and that was the result. Do you want me to put you on the list for seeds - if we can catch them before they disappear? Just PM your address.

The lychnis mix is all self-seeded in our veggie plot. They have intermixed themselves very well and we're not into segregation :D.

Clare, our lemon verbena has been in its pot for over 20 years. In the winter we stick it in a cold greenhouse and always wonder how it manages to survive . The scent is very refreshing.

Our variegated jasmine, above, has a lovely scent and is next to our back door :dbgrtmb:

Now now, Shiney. Can't a girl wear a perfectly ordinary pair of comedy antlers without being subjected to that kind of smut?

Not everything in the garden has to be large blousey cultivated plants; our lower lawn is so dry this year that it barely needs cutting and as a result some lovely wildflowers have thrived..

                      So many flowers right now,
                      A few cacti and succulents.

One of my favorite hostas. And a beautiful hydrangea, its white discs (lace cap type) are luminous in the moon light, so pretty. This is the view from my car in the driveway. Oh, yes, and another hydranga blooming--the blue ball type on the left. And lower a tri colored hosta, left corner.
