Looking good Armandii and Simbad. :dbgrtmb:

Armandii, love the pond area; did I spy some Astilbes in there getting ready to flower?
Lovely shot of the Paeonie with the raindrops on too.

Simbad, those Iris 'Action Front' look stunning, I'm going to look out for some of those to add to my Iris patch.

My recently planted Passion Flower has survived the gales last night, only a few buds blown off:

Geranium 'Patrica' sent to me as root cuttings by Peter S has grown like mad, here comes it's first flower with loads more on their way:

Tuberous Begonia Non-Stop, grown from plug plants - I've a few of these still in their pots waiting to get planted:

A little rose, was a potted indoor plant last year, tucked away amongst my bedding taking it's chances:

        Petunias:

        Cloves in the herb bed:

Self sown poppy - this has got a bit top heavy and was blown over flat yesterday:

Yep, Trunky, there are two varieties of Astilbes in there, one pink and one white and they're been there since 1993 but are now having to compete with the Fern that seems to be growing apace.:snork:

Yes, you're right, Trunky, those are Astilbes in the bog garden.:snork: I planted two varieties in the 90's, one pink and the other white. One of them is hiding behind the Fern which seems to like it there and is challenging the rest of the plants!

I'm no great lover of Clematis, but this is one of the keepers in the new garden!

              Bit of a gem!

              Any ideas on an id?

It's a little gem this one - what it lacks in stature (20cm tall tops) the yellow blooms make up for. And a yellow Penstemon had to be had! Bonus that it has proven to be fully hardy too!
