I may have to do "un petit deviation" to Morrisons on Thursday - just to see if they have one...
If they do, it's going in the basket...:wub2:

I know. Deja vu all over again. But next door's tangle of roses is looking really good on my side of the fence now. In a small space, you're always grateful for extras. The rose with the trusses of crimson flowers smells gorgeous. Haven't a clue what it is. The pale pink is an old rambler that's been in the garden next door for at least sixty years, maybe more. I took some cuttings from it when the old lady who planted it died and they rooted beautifully. I was able to pass on some nice healthy plants to her son and daughter for them to plant in their own gardens.

Thank you Simbad. I think you've solved the mystery and it is indeed Veilchenblau. I tried taking some cuttings from it last year but none struck. Might have another go this season. (No room in my garden but I'm looking ahead to the rolling acres I'm going to have just as soon as I've secured that lottery win :heehee:.)

                Campanula Portenschlagiana Catharina

First time I've grown this, so plonked it in a pot and it's been flowering since end April.
