Roscoea scillifolia is very late this year.............

Grevillea juniperina has been a real pain to get to bloom, suffering bud drop for about a month now.

A few more from my garden last week.

Erigeron has seeded itself in amongst the Lavender alongside the path
          DSC06547.JPG

More self seeded Erigeron and a lone Canterbury Bell help to brighten up an otherwise boring brick wall.
          DSC06568.JPG

I'm quite happy to let things seed themselves and grow where they will around the garden. The bed behind the seat here is a result of this 'hands off' approach, it contains Lychnis, Feverfew, Sisyrinchium, Foxglove, Lemon Balm and Teasel, none of which were deliberately planted there.
          DSC06562.JPG
Here's a similar bed in the front garden with Lychnis, Canterbury Bells, Yellow Loosestrife and Honesty all doing their own thing.

The evening sun illuminating the grass seed heads and Ox-eye daisies in the wildflower patch.

It usually produces plenty of seed, you're both welcome to some if I remember to collect it :snork:; it does flower in its first year from seed..
