We have a number of weigelia around the garden (about a dozen - I think). They are a variety of different coloured flowers and leaves.

Variegated leaves (gold edges) with very pale pink (almost white) flowers

Variegated leaves (pink edges) medium dark flowers

Variegated leaves (wider gold edges) with medium flowers

Some of our dozens of Hostas - normally double the size by this time of year. We have mainly large leaved ones which are more slug resistant. We have different shades of green and a variety of silver and gold variegated ones.

We were away all last week so took our hanging baskets down to make it easier for friends to water them. We place them on pots to keep them off the ground and stick a cane in the each basket to hang the hook and chain on. It can be a terrible nuisance to rummage around in the plants to find the chain!

I agree, Shiney, what a load of Nectaroscordum!!!!!:gaah::heehee: As an aside, one of my cats [Jenny] has obviously given up in disgust at today's cool grey weather and just stomped up the stair to the Bathroom and jumped onto the Washing Basket which means she's going to sleep!!:cat-kittyandsmiley:

Mowgley those hostas are very fine specimens!

That's slave labour - I'd pay £1.00 per slug/snail to anyone that can find mine - they are getting frillier by the day and I can't find the little demons - maybe I should go to 'spec savers'!
