    My lavender in the front has good green shoots looks nice and healthy, have had a good show of Lupins so far but they go over so quickly.:)

    I love Iris foetidissima (Stinking Iris) Jenny. Self seeds readily and can produce subtly different babies. Here's my first of the year...................

                  I have a problem corner where nothing I plant grows & so Ive just tagged it as the "wildlife area" where I leave all the woody rubbish & old logs for the insects. I might be on the right track, as Ive noticed Ive got "Lords & Ladies" appearing from nowhere, & the ground elder is struggling !

                      I've not had a chance to spend time in the garden the last few days but I managed a photo through the kitchen window.

                      After a wet and cloudy afternoon the sun just came out as it was starting to set. Taken at 8.50 p.m. Ten minutes later the clouds came back.

                      The hose is out because we still need it for watering as we haven't had much rain.
