    A few from me;

    Arisaema tortuosum..............
    [IMG]

    Beschorneria septentrionalis is really going for it..................
    [IMG]

    This Rose has rather mugged the washing line..............
    [IMG]

    No idea as to which it is though..............
    [IMG]

    Phygelius..................
    [IMG]

    Growing into it I have Bomarea edulis which has lots of big fat flower heads like this............
    [IMG]

    Digitalis Illumination Pink is not happy..................
    [IMG]

    However, Digitalis lutea is happy!

        Salvias;

        Salvia forsskoalii................
        [IMG]

        In a couple of weeks it will be making quite a statement.............
        [IMG]

        The red form of S.microphylla is very late this year..............
        [IMG]

        The white form has taken over the path however.............
        [IMG]

        [IMG]

        Salvia x jamensis "Raspberry Royale" is looking really good (the thistle type plant is Morina longifolia)...............

                  I like June - a lot of the perennials are starting to get into their stride but haven't started to flop over or get ugly knees yet. Just one shot..

                  [IMG]

                  In the foreground - salvias, lavenders, sea hollies, agastache, budleja, big grass

                  In the background - veronicas, more sea hollies, more salvias, sea lavender, agapanthii, campanula, blue grasses

                  And in the top left,verbenas and perovskias (not visible) - both new to me this year

                      Thanks Sheal - yes, there's a definite theme in form and colour going on.

                          How do you normally cook it? I used to use it in soups.

                          Or do you have a lot of snakes in your area? :snork:
