Ok, a very excited "M" here ... I doubt anyone remembers, but, earlier this year, I did post about a surprise clematis growing up my choisya. Well, it's only gone and flowered  Here she is ...
    CIMG0007.JPG

Obviously, I have no idea which variety she is, but she is a gorgeous colour (for some reason I assumed she was going to be a pale pink, so I'm totally delighted with this rich colour):wub2:

Oh yes ... cooooey: @Jenny namaste ...

And a few other bloomers going on here at Chez "M" :

These are the Virginia stocks I sowed direct earlier in the season. Really pretty, delicate and colourful little flower and it blends in well with my geranium. As they are also under the choisya, now that the clematis is flowering it all blends in together.

      and a closer view

My loganberry (bought on sale a few weeks ago) is flowering nicely ...

The strawberry bucket in the hanging basket (another sale item)

And a clematis I bought a few weeks ago has formed its first bud (! Gotta love Morrison plants for strength and health!)

And finally, this is probably my most colourful corner at present - not the best of photos but you get the idea :heehee:

What a lovely plant, its petals look like the wings of a butterfly :)

Rhododendron Van's putting on a good display this year ...

Medium sized dog added for scale :doggieshmooze: You can see how huge the blooms are. I've just moved it to the top patio where it's going to get a bit more sun. I had moved it to the side of the house (which is shaded and quite damp) but last year it got some sort of fungal infection which meant most of the lower leaves dropped off, so treated and moved it and managed to save it thankfully.

Mosers Maroon, a lovely wine colour and a recent new purchase.

Callistemon pallidus, very slow growing in the dry sandy soil and not many flowers, yet.

I don't know if this is in the right place.... Please move if not, thanks.

                          Iresine Herbstii,

Got to be my favourite foliage plant.

I've got two of these, this one has taken over my boiler unit in the kitchen, around 3 ft high and wide.

Also experimented with growing a standard for my bedroom.... Now almost 7 ft high.

Time for some serious haircuts I think :)
