upload_2017-6-22_21-46-15.jpeg You may mock.... you may cast nasturtiums about my inability to remember. My solace will be in my lovely fluffy girlie grass called Stipa tenuissima aka Nassella tenuissima. For you and Verdun, I leave this simple message .....:rasp:

Good morning :) ..do you mean Miscanthus sinensis zebrinus Shiners ? (it is morning and some of me faculties have returned)
You would have sold a few more grasses if I could have come to your big day, it is a shame there is a bit too much distance between.

Armandii, I mean the big stripy green and yella one ;)

Do you have a catalogue and postal service @shiney (afterthought)

Yes, that's the one. This is one of the small ones that we put in our new bed two years ago (photo was only a few months after planting).
                    P1250645.JPG

No. We don't do anything on a commercial basis. It's just seeds, cuttings and plants being split from our own garden. It's mainly done just for our Open Garden (1.5 days at the end of May) and for friends and anyone who wants to pop in for some (by arrangement). We have calculated that we had somewhere in the region of 3,000 for sale, but that's a deceptive figure as there are a lot that are done in bulk - such as 300 runner bean plants! We sold 100 pots of Honey Bells (Allium siculum) with three in a pot. They were all dug up from the garden.

I guess we have about 1,000 left but a lot of them are not really ready for sale as they will need bringing on for next year and potting on.

We don't have time to try selling them in any other way as the garden takes a lot of our time and we are very busy with other things. Who said retirement would be relaxing? :snorky: Seventeen years and we're busier than ever!

Also, we sell them too cheaply to bother with packaging and posting and all the money goes to the charity. :dbgrtmb:

This is where we split the Zebra grass from:-
                    P1250978.JPG

And this was part of the new bed at five months. Prior to that it was 22 Leyllandii that were 40 years old

Hi took some more pictures the other day. I've grown the delphiniums from seed but for one. I have two next to each other ( white - blue ) cause I didnt know what colour they were going to be, dunno if to remove one are leave them both to it.

My 99p paul scarlett I picked up a few years ago, I've planted up the troughs since this pic.

                      IMG00011 (5).JPG

Allium Round & Purple suppose to be the longest flowering allium on trails and flowers as big as globemaster. The flowers aren't as big as Gmaster this year but they are I still brilliant and very large.

Some snap dragons which didn't want to flower last year but on into over drive this year :)
