Nice colour Gary...is your bear cast iron mate?...as I brought a black swan from Ironbridge museum last year in black £20 :yikes: but as heavy as lead :snorky:
Lovely pic though Verdun but [IMG] to spec savers they did my eyes years back and paid £200 for spec's that didn't match my eyes [IMG]….never again with the performance I had

The bear is actually concrete (or something similar). It belonged to my late mother in law. It was looking a bit tired and had a few knocks so I decided to tidy it up and have it out. I painted it with a metal rust treatment paint. It was the only paint I had. It's a bit shiny (looks like coal) but it's ok.

The dog is still around and quite healthy thank you for asking. :happydog:

The Allium is A ostrowskianum (and some other names too, like A. farreri) and a lot of a seed thug.
                    The Verbascum is Letitia

Wonderful pictures all, have been catching up. I'll try to post some of mine soon, my favourite combination at the moment is Penstemon Electric Blue with Geum Totally Tangerine and Salvia Patens (early this year). Agastache Black Adder and Kudos Mandarin are also coming out.

@Verdun are the cultivated linaria's reliably perennial?

I'd hsve said Allium Cernuum from the photo.
Cernuum flowers are like bells, Ostrowskianum are star shaped.

Definitely not A. cernuum. I have that elsewhere (along with a dozen or more other species). That one came as A. farreri so probably cyathophorum var. farreri. Still a seed thug though.
