It looks very pretty @Irmemac :). I do like your blue trough :wub2:. Does the brick serve a purpose?

Thanks for your kind words and it would be lovely if you were able to make it. :blue thumb: Of course, I only show the best bits - of the garden, of course! :heehee:

Just googled them @Fat Controller and you're right, couldn't miss them! I seem to have a much larger than normal quantity of black beetles which I think are ground beetles, so I will leave them be.

Thank you @luciusmaximus - the trough was rescued from a closing down office years ago. Used to be filled with stuff that didn't thrive but I've sorted it out as it sits next to the new barrel pond. I have no idea why that brick is sitting there!!

Oh don't worry she's been stung alright but I never knew this till I had my first cat...that if they suffer pain their immune system closes down to the pain...where as with dogs that doesn't happen and most likely if she had been stung she's fighted it :)

Not quite true, sorry @Gail_68, though it's a common misconception - cats definitely do feel pain, they just tend to be much more subtle about it, whereas dogs are often complete drama queens :rolleyespink:

Nothing's looking good in my garden at the moment, the combination of lackluster watering while we were on holiday last week and too many things in pots has not gone down well :frown: Even the cosmos have flopped
