          @ CarolineL I check all round quite a few times a day. When the plants were a few inches tall I sprayed with a Lilly Beetle killer, this appears to work. I do have slugs eating a few though.

          I've been in Lockdown since March so I have plenty of time to walk up and down the garden.

            Hi Caroline , yes they have the same clove scent. I'm gonna try and take some cuttings off them this year now I know what they're like.
