@john558 how have you avoided lily beetle???

 

@ CarolineL I check all round quite a few times a day. When the plants were a few inches tall I sprayed with a Lilly Beetle killer, this appears to work. I do have slugs eating a few though.

I've been in Lockdown since March so I have plenty of time to walk up and down the garden.

 

Hi Caroline , yes they have the same clove scent. I'm gonna try and take some cuttings off them this year now I know what they're like.

 

Hmm @john558 you must be better at it than me. I check mine frequently, but the little blighters sneak out and eat when I'm away.

 

Every yr im thankful for the seeds @strongylodon they all must be around 9yr old now x
