What's looking good in June 2020

Its a Meconopsis Lingholm the colour is quite spectacular. The rain has seen that flower off today

@Perki - that Lingholm shouldn't do so well for you - you don't live in Scotland! I'll be interested to see if it is perennial like it's supposed to be. I have a lot of seedlings of it waiting to be planted out.
@Upsydaisy your Madonna lily is glorious! I had one but all it did was produce a basal tuft and sulk - never a flower.

 

There's very little in my garden yet regarding flowering plants but here's a handful.

@CarolineL Its is wet / damp here most of the time so ideal for them . The Meconopsis is in its second year and bulking up well . I did buy two at the same time but lost that one during the summer to wet rotted away. I've bought another one this year see how that one does .

 

Thanks @KFF. Well I had to show you how it's done, didn't I? Did you notice the red leaves? I gave it a feed a couple of days ago, the soil here is useless.

 

Hahaha , I never noticed the leaves. Usually happens after flowering on mine.

 

Will someone point out the Chia for me please because I have just planted some ... Salvia hispanica ... and cannot see a pic ...

 

Sorry @Victoria , Chia is the shorter name for Chiastophyllum Oppositifolium. It's the yellow flowered plant in @Sheals last photo above.

Lysimachia vulgaris.

 

Watsonia now in full flower. Unfortunately it looks like my other ones have died out, leaving only 'Best Red'.

 

My Watsonia is just clinging to life.
I grew it from seed some years ago, but still trying to find the right environment for it.

 

Don't you need to move to South Africa?
