My Plectranthus "Mona Lavender" courtesy of @pete is going into full bloom.

Now what is odd here is everything I read about it says it blooms when the days are shorter. :what:

I looked up several links today and it says Autumn/Winter when the days are shorter. However, it is just thriving here getting late morning/early afternoon sun. Thank you.

Thank you, I didn't know that, I named it Brodiaea when I posted a photo a few days ago. I have difficulty remembering new names after calling something by the old name for so many years. I'll have to make a note of this

Can't get close enough to see the names - if the blackbirds have left the labels alone (unlikely).
Some are too far into the beds to get to at this time of year and others have been there so long there won't be any labels left.

The first of our Veronicastrum are just producing their flowers and they should be covered in bees and butterflies by next week

It's in our large shrub border and I had trouble getting in there to remove the bindweed that keeps trying to pull it down to the ground. We can't see the bindweed until it is about 5ft high!

You are not alone in this; I get frustrated with the constant changes.
Also it takes ages for the changes to work through to the nurseries etc.

A bit spooky but new Morrocan solar lights. They were on from 9.15pm till 6ish am and made an incredible pattern on the path.

Boy coming in at 9ish ...
