    A nice surprise. I got a 10cm rooted cutting of a Brugmansia from Spain on 16 February, and four months later I have a bud .. I wonder what colour it will be. :smile:

                Mine is in a big pot and dragged in/out of the greenhouse over winter. There are only two flower spikes and I can't see it getting more unless I planted it the ground like pete's. They make really large tuberous roots.

                  @JWK yes the roots are massive - I killed one I'd had for 30 years by trying to split it, because any bigger pot would be impossible to move. Now I'm going to chance one in a sheltered bed - I was given it because it's covered with mealy and was being chucked out. Worth a gamble!
