          Rosa "Zieglerknaben" First time it's flowered for a few years, probably due to pruning and removal of trees. It is very prickly and vigorous, needs moving really.

              Lilly Beetle have devastated these white ones, and yet I haven't seen a single adult one.The grubs are having a real banquet on all the blooms. So upset. :wallbanging:

                          Does this look the same as yours @pete?.

                          That's our morining coffee bench under it, can't say that can detect any fragrance. It's also just outside our bedroom window too but again no fragrance in the air.

                          What is it called please. It's our neighbour's and I have to say it's a bit of a bugbear with us as it's grown so huge and as if the lovely Oak Trees aren't bad enough this too has now added to the reduced light levels in our bedroom and the family snug lounge below which is the lounge hubs and I mainly use now it's only the two of us.

                          Personally we think it's ugly, but maybe it's down to the lack of knowledge of their gardener.:dunno:
