      Its not delosperma, but I know it looks similar.

          Apples and Pears...for some weird reason we have no Plums...first time ever. Last year we had no Apples or Pears...put that down to the high temps:dunno:

              Is it a Lampranthus @pete ? What soil are you growing your protea in ? I've got a mimtues I can't spell it but its part of the protea family which is looking very sad , I keep wondering if its get phosphorus poisoning I am growing it in 100% peat

              Hi @Perki ,the protea is in the ground, but I have others of the family in pots.
              I recently found something called bark fines, it's fine decomposed bark.
              Just my thoughts but I don't think just peat is suitable, its not very open and well drained, possibly too acidic as well.
              I'm mixing the bark with sharp sand and I have some ericacaous John innes about a third of each.


              I feed occasionally as well when roots are established, if they start to look a bit yellow an iron feed often helps.

              It's not Lampranthus but similar in flower.
