This is something I might stop growing after this year, it seems to take an awful lot of effort for just a few flowers, but the flowers are, I think, special.
    Brugmansia Sanguinea.

There's a fair amount of that Sisyrinchium at Mottisfont among the roses, with the old roses being mainly shades of red and pink, the yellow provides a nice foil. Quite a bit showing here among the roses, peonies, dianthus and Campanula Medium (Canterbury Bells)

It's certainly very colourful, Sis! Just love that Paeony ... gorgeous. Somehow your white Mock Orange and white Pinks are a lovely delicate shade of green.

Your first picture on the second post is not there.

It's a good job I have all these lovely flowers to look at as my borders and rockeries are lost!

    Here is the missing one.

As said in the other thread, I don't know why the pics now have a green tinge. I'd be thankful if someone could tell me why.

Like the Sanguinea Pete, I have about 2 dozen I am growing on this year 4 different shades of red or pink I know they can be troublesome with bud drop if they are too warm but from your pictures well worth the effort, have you tried any of the Sanguinea hybrids I have one called "Sangre" hopefully post some pictures when it flowers

Walnut, my sanguinea is only a seed grown plant.

Are the hybrids any easier to grow flower wise.
Its alway too cold or too warm I find for my plants.
I did have one some years ago that had very hairy leaves, but that was not a great flowerer either.
