    Me too! They look almost unreal and I think that in a light fog at twilight, they would look spooky.

    Seeing your pretty Helleborus, I saw a pic of black ones the other day, now, they were something else. Unfortunately, I didn't make a note of the proper name, perhaps I can find them on the net.

    One of my favourite Spring trees is in bloom at the moment, its buds coming straight out of the bark .... the glorious Cercis siliquastrum or Judas Tree (or Tree of Love depending on your religious beliefs) ....
