    Walnut, I've just bought a tulip like that. The flowers look the same but as I'm looking at the pic on my laptop(not the best) can you confirm the leaves are stripey? that's what attracted me to them and then I saw some with flowers opened & had to go and ask what they were, oops! I forget the name he told me, of course, but I just asked if I should treat them like ordinary tulips. I got 5 in a pot for £2.50. Hoping they will be as nice as the 'free' ones that have appeared in the garden.

    Sandra it does have a stripey leaf,they have been in that tub about 3years and never fail.
