It would, normally, be too early but some of our have been out for a few weeks because of the mild weather. I think I put some shots up earlier on.

Our Sophora is doing the best it has ever done. The last few years there have been very few flowers on it but it's going to look magnificent this year.

I've seen some of you put up pictures of your Ko Jo No Ma. A Japanese friend who popped round the other day says it means 'Dancer'.

These Hellebore foetidus are certainly brightening up a shady corner but they seem to be taking over. I might have to remove some of them. We have lots of them around the garden.

The exochordas are just coming into bud, which is a bit early. @ARMANDII yours are usually about two weeks earlier than mine. Are they in flower yet?
        P1190984.JPG

These double daffs have heads that are much too heavy for their stems. They usually break after just a few days of being open. I've tried to prop them up a bit. Looping string around them doesn't help because they just break at the string! We have two large clumps of them.

Our heather hanging baskets are doing OK

Just some of our thousands of cowslips, primulas and primroses.

Hi, Shiney, I've been so busy during the last week that I hadn't really noticed so I've just had to go outside into the garden with a torch to check:doh::snork:.............on looking I find that mine has not started to open it's flowers just yet but it's very close to doing so. My Osmanthus is also on the brink of opening it's flowers:hapydancsmil:

Those spring hanging baskets are beautiful, Wiseowl. Do you leave them planted up to come back every year, or do you plant a new spring arrangement each year?
They may serve as my inspiration for next year.

I've emailed Mr. Levy to give him some grief about it! Re the herbs, pretty close. There is:
                              1. Fennel
                              2. Lavender
                              3. Chive
                              4. Feverfew (not out of choice!)
                              5. Rosemary
                              6. Thyme
                              7. Mint

Out of of shot I have some Icterina Sage which today I found is actually Salvia??? Can I still use it as Sage in cooking pork etc?
