    Just remember to site it in the right place as it can grow quite tall. I've seen them, when they've just been left to themselves, over 20ft tall.

                    Val, it started to look good about a month ago but the bright colour of the leaves will fade by July. They do turn a rich red in autumn but only for a short time. A stunning tree for this time of year and we have it where a path from our front door meets the curve of the driveway, so it greets you as you come in or go out (which we do, a lot).
