This Cordyline is one that Shiney rescued from a neighbour's garden that she wanted dug up and dumped and he gave it to me. It wasn't looking too happy when I took it home, but I planted it in a sheltered area between the Observatory and the West Fence and it's starting to come back into life. The Daffs are ones that I found earlier this year and had left to over Winter......and then forgotten about. They were planted with an hour of me finding them and they tend to brighten up a bland area.

Thanks, Anthony, it's surprising how you can change a bare area with some rescued and forgotten plants. It does brighten up the area which is dominated by a Budleja and a Spirea Arguta.:heehee:

If it was me I'd put in a couple of Hardy Geraniums to cover the Daffs as they're dying off.

That's a great idea, Anthony, but I already have waiting in the Green House several Sysirinchiums,

Mustard 'Giant Red' which pops up every year in the herbaceous bed, quite happy to let it flower and seed, so it'll be back again next year.
