:dbgrtmb: Upsy. They smell fabulous but are having to compete with the orange blossom! Walking about it is heavenly as the Brug is blooming. .Here are a couple more, a Freesia that hybridized and the Cercis coming into bloom ...

Went well, thank you Logan. He did the two stages in just over an hour. Just have to have the crown put on. It's a lower molar so not really visible.

Hi @Victoria , I love Freesias. Your hybridized one is beautiful. I had never grown them before last year believing them to be tricky but they were absolutely stunning., bearing in mind we can only grow them in a greenhouse for the best results.

I just thought they flowered once and that was it ( eg like a Tulip or Hyacinth ), but I found the more I picked the more they grew. They must have flowered for about 3 months.one of them in the end had 6 side shoots on it.

I'm just replanting mine this week, last years and new ones this for this year.

                        A couple from last year.......

This year I've got some of the more pastel like pale blue and pale pink.

Hi @KFF I find Freesias amazing. I love that hybrid. They are my favourite flower with Carnations rubbing shoulders. I have done Chaubaud mixed from seed, easy peasy. Have you tried them?

                            Hi @Victoria , I don't believe it :)

Carnations and the Dianthus family are my favourites :)

I have about 80 different ones right from Wild Species to named varieties/hybrids.
I already have some of the florists types ( sprays and the large " buttonhole " types ) on order for the greenhouse for Winter flowers.

I have grown the Chabaud ones from seed but I was generally disappointed with them

If you want to grow some large flowered single ones from seed with a gorgeous scent try Dianthus " Rainbow Loveliness ".

@KFF T'other Half has bought me flowers twice ... once for my 21st/our 1st birthaversary, 20 red and 1 white florist Carnations and the second time for my 40th/our 20th birthaversay, 40 red/20 white florist Carnations. The latter (long stemmed) were delivered to my office ... and I had to drive home with them in my car ... an Austin Sprite convertible!
We have exceptional taste in flora me'thinks! :spinning:

That's great news, I've had to have a crown put on a molar. The tooth had broken and he built it up and put a crown on. It's just about hanging on because the gum has receded so much it's very loose but it's been about 3 years since.
