Well done, strongy, from me and Sis. [IMG] [IMG]

Sis has arrived in Florida so possibly will come on line later (six hours behind now remember rather than one ahead for her) ... I know she'll be real proud of you. [IMG]

Your timing is possibly right ... it was October 2006 when I went back to the IoW and posted them to you from there ... gosh, doesn't time fly ...

    Thanks Kathy and shiney.

Strongy, your red peach trees look more than good and I can't believe that yours have the first bloom already! Very well done! It must come from them having professional care. At this rate, you will be getting fruit in another couple of years.

Woo, your Bleeding Heart is that far along already!!! I just love this elegant plant but ours have gotten less and less over the years. Do you feed yours with anything special and what sun/shade position do they have, please? Ours have/had a light shade.

    Marley,our Pink/White bleeding heart {Dicentra
Spectabilis} has growth of about the same as yours. We thought we had lost it but it is just starting to come back so it will be a week or so before I get the open flowers.Woo lives down South where it is warmer, that is why they call it the Garden Of England ...

KG,we have already lost our white Dicentra.I found that they do vanish after a few years and I havn't had any sucess with splitting these large plants because the roots are so brittle. We have a small one which I think is Dicentra eximea and that is one is very tough and I have managed to split that one up quiet well.

Woo,sorry should have put this is first.Fantastic photo. They are one of my all time favourite flowering plants

[IMG] Kandy my White Bleeding Hearts-Dicentra Spectabilis Alba is up about the same amount. It is a nice sized clump that I split couple of years ago & gave the other 1/2 of the clump to my daughter & both are doing well.. I also slpit my red pink one-Dicentra spectabilis with no problem as well, at the same time. We are both enjoying them now... ;) :D
[IMG] March is the perfect time to get ready to divide up some of your perennials if the clumps are large. Plants like Dicentra spectablis Bleeding Hearts like to be divided just as they are popping out of the soil. So you do miss a season so to speak but they really benefit the next year. I also mulch mine with well rotted horse manure... ;) Makes them grow like heck... [IMG]
