What's the name of that/those Iris Sheal - looks rather tempting!

The markings on those Irises are beautiful Sheal - perfect colours and shape!

I haven't got a clue Longk! My brother sent it to me the year before last saying it was Denticulata but it's not. It's only this year it's put out a few flowers that are no more than three inches across and it's also got those horrible thin strappy leaves. It's grown to about 18 inches in height. I'll take a full picture tomorrow and post it for you, if you're interested I'll send you some at the end of flowering. :)

Thank you Annie. :) It was only yesterday I discovered the flowers they were hiding in amongst the leaves.

What a great find - too beautiful a flower to be hiding.

              Thanks - I would be.
Maybe you might be tempted by Codonopsis for the new garden when you move?

That's a possibility, thanks! When I move? Right now I've got more chance of seeing pigs fly! :heehee:
There has been nothing new on the market here for nearly three months, it's at a standstill and so frustrating. Mind you I knew we'd be in for the long haul, the property and area we're looking in is quite restricting. I don't expect to move or find anything this year, it's just a case of sitting and waiting.

You know as well as I do that's not true. A picture is only as good as the person behind the lens when a shot's being taken! :)

The thread is getting busier and in addition to asking about plant names I added some items on my wishlist, such as Aquilegia 'Rhubarb & Custard'...
The Bressingham shots are inhuman, my heart missed a beat at the sight of that dell!

                            Now, getting to the point:
First ID question goes to Jenny, about the foliage plant next to the spiraea in this shot:

And Shiney, pls, could you name this one for me:

An which is the one in bud here, surrounded by the geranium and the euphorbia...)?
Goodness, it took me 40 mins to post this, I've completely messed it up with quoting the right attachments.
