    @alp - I admit I bought that plant many years ago, and don't get it flowering every year. I have managed protea roupelli to flower from seed in a few years (but then killed it!). I find with proteacae that they can sometimes die off for no apparent reason :noidea:

        I don't think I have any chance of seeing the flower. Of all the seeds, only one germinated. I don't think I have smoked them enough and didn't break the dormancy properly. It's a beautiful flower. Glad that you have been keeping it for a few years. Well worth it. Thank you for sharing.

                              I haven't had one black helleborus! Get a replacement, just watch, there won't be any black either.
