I have inherited several large clumps of bluebells from my neighbours. They must have migrated when the new fence was erected. I don't particularly want them but at the same time it's a shame to waste them so I have moved them to the far end of the garden. There they can spread as much as they like. They will help hide the back fence until all the summer perennials come out.

It's not much, but the first thing to flower that I've grown from seed in 20+ years emerged today. The heatwave at the start of last month saw to a hefty portion of the pansy and especially the begonia seedlings (as you can see in the shelf below), but we have life!

Thank you :). The Dandelions seem to be having a very good year for some reason, larger, more golden flowers :hapydancsmil:.

image.jpeg Been offline for a while as we've had a little break away to Poole, but your gardens are all looking lovely, I'll have to catch up on the other posts I've missed.
Had a lovely time away, but there's no place like home - and to come back to the garden in full bloom is a lovely welcome :)
This is a lovely little red squirrel that we saw on Brownsea Island.

Thanks @Fern4 they are adorable, it's the first time we've been to Brownsea island and it was a great day out. The peacocks were beautiful too and so friendly, came right up to us. Such a peaceful place to go and we've already said we'll be going back.

Nice to be back out in the garden taking some photos again. About 8 years ago we planted three French lilac seeds, and this year is the first year they've ever flowered. They are more than making up for it though now as they're flowering their little socks off and the smell is just beautiful! So rewarding that we've watched these grow from seed too.
