              Verdun stunning selection :love30: and after watching redstar's videos I just love hostas plants and the size they grow to :wow:

                      Could be a few reasons Gail.....maybe one is in more sun but I think you will find it will flower in its own time :)

                      Lawns looking good right now....just back to mow them. And staked another helenium....the rain last night has helped it grow even more :)

                          Verdun the one on the left as growed at the same rate but is in the shade a bit more than the other...hopefully it will flower and nice to hear your lawns are doing well and they look very healthy on the pic you added :love30:

                            Our Sambucus is starting to flower. There's about a dozen blooms.

                            This Piilu clematis has over a dozen new flowers to come.

                            Our new wisteria is doing its best to climb over the pergola.

                            Our tortoise shell rhodo is now in full bloom and a few behind it, of the couple of dozen giant lilies we have in the garden, will soon be in flower.

                            The problem with this rhodo is that it has outgrown everything.
                            My original intention was that there would be several features to draw the eye down the garden in stages, ending with the tea-house on one side and the little pagoda, (not so little, it's six feet tall with the sōrin) on the other side.


                            But it's scuppered that.

                            You can't see the pagoda from the house now.
