                  Osteos do well here even the yellow Voltage Yellow which again is hardy over winter.

                      @CarolineL - nice Clianthus! I planted mine out in 2015 and lost it :gaah:

                      It's so nice to see someone else growing this. One of my absolute favourites :blue thumb:

                      The various Echeveria are coming along now. Most of these spent the winter on staging next to the house protected from wet weather by the eaves;

                      I'm having to keep this Echeveria hybrid apart as it has blackfly. Shame as it's a nice one that I suspect has some E.purposorum in it..........

                        @longk - thanks - the clianthus lives in a pot for now, but I had one in my previous front garden flowering quite happily for years in clayish soil.
                        How do you take such good photos? You even make blackfly look good!
                        @Upsydaisy - is the photo 115419 an allium or ornithogalum? It's nice! And the lime heuchera is gorgeous - is it Lime Ricky?
                        @Verdun those osteos are wonderful. I think I might have a bash now that I'm living somewhere warmer (but wetter).
