@CarolineL....I was edging today when assailed by a beautiful perfume.....et voilà One of the Acacias that you kindly sent me....There's a label somewhere () but it's a lovely, soft yellow and looking at the leaves, and given the late flowering, could be retinoides.

The Honeysuckle has come back on the Dining Patio after last year's massacre ...


Also, the birds seeded one in the Rockery and we transplanted it to a trough by the house and it has its first blooms nesting in the Bougainvilla ...

@noisette47 - your acacia is looking a lot better than my retinodes which have died due to frost! However acacia boormanii seems to have just about survived and valiantly attempted some flowers

 

Oh that's a beautiful colour! I've been coddling mine too much, he's yet to flower Strangely, retinoides is sold over here as being as hardy as dealbata

Second year plants both croaked in my garden last winter, grown from your seed.
As a side line those Dietes seeds are coming up like cress.
