It's under 3/4 acre but a very busy garden :noidea:. We moved here over 50 years ago to and overgrown and neglected plot of land with a dilapidated building because we wanted a large garden and couldn't afford anything else. Now, the garden is getting a bit muych for us but we love it. :)

Cant say I've noticed it, but often the year before does influence the following year.
Unlike those that like to think that plants and trees can actually foretell weather,

@Balc the front garden is about 90' x 100'. The back is about two and a half times that.

These are most of the beds in the front but certainly not all. :)

@Balc I agree with you the tree blossom has been stunning this year down here too. Like you we are in a large Horse Chestnut area and have a lot of Hawthorne up our lane and they are providing us with a fabulous display this year.

As I garden on a 4mx2.5m balcony I obviously don't have room for trees - so I've taken pictures of a few of the Hawthorn trees that are flowering near me.

Most flowering trees about here seem to have been having a good year for blooms except for my plum and June berry (Amelanchier) trees that seem to have gone the other way and had a poor year for flowers and fruit. The cherry laurel also had a much better year for flowers than normal and cutting some back during the week I noticed more fruit on them than usual. After a long wait the Wisteria I got cheap in a budget supermarket about eight years back finally started to flower and I posted a video starting with it here. There is also a white flowered horse chestnut in the video that has bloomed better this year than any other so far and a red flowered one that has bloomed again but needs more time to mature enough to look good in my opinion.
                              Happy gardening!

Trees around here are about the same as usual @Balc but our weathers are usually different and I suppose that would have an impact on the trees.
