Nice pics Chengjing, I haven't grown Auriculas for years, must try them again.

Nik, I have one now, from ebay but has stayed in the glasshouse at work but now is on a sunny widowsill next to a Bilbergia Windii (for company:)).

Common old laburnum, I reckon it could rival any tropical tree for flower power.
Mines biennial, it only flowers well every other year, but when it does.

And just a general view of part of the garden, the shady bit in the late afternoons.

There's nothing common about the old laburnum Pete, when in flower it's absolutley beautiful, and what a lovely little haven you have there, I could lose myself in there with all those wonderful plants surrounding me.:thumb: 02

Bought the corm in a department store in Brussels on our way back from Bruges in feb, wasn't sure whether it would grow, well here it is complete with silver spotted leaves.

That really deserves its name as it looks like a work of art, Strongy. Beautiful. From corm to finished plant, that was really fast.

Lovely photos everyone, nice to see some colour.

Pete, how long to the cacti take to flower. The petals look so lovely. I would really like a couple of those if i can get them, I have just the spot for them. Think I'll do a bit of googling. Should I be looking for 'rebutia'?

    cheers

    Nice Calla Strongy:thumb:

Borrowers, rebutia is the name of the red and yellow ones, pobably the easiest cacti to flower, and they flower early, a small plant bought now would flower next spring, but they need frost protection and good strong light.

This is epiphyllum, a bit different from rebutia but still a cacti.
