Thank you, Woo - sorry if that last image (alliums) is too big for forum rules. I'm having a few photobucket resizing challenges! Leeds is a wonderful place, and now that I know I can pay just once and go as many times as I like for a whole year, I'll be there a lot more often!

    Hi redstar,

I think that I called your plant a honeysuckle when, at another look, it appears to be a cleome. :o :dh:

Last week these tulips were looking good until a deer came in for supper.

So I devised a quick defense to them getting over our rabbit fence and they haven't been in since :gnthb:. I did this all along the back fence.

Mrs shiney just sold 8 hanging baskets and 1 large tub - all planted and in bloom - for our charity. This has made a little more room for her to pot on other plants - although the extra space isn't really visible.

She has also sold two of these sweetpea baskets.

Although she has also sold this stone sink it will stay with us until after our Open Day.

These have bloomed in the greenhouse
and this rehmania elata is grown from seed from the GC seed swap (hardy perennial).

and the orchid has been there all winter with no heat.

It's not worked so I'm giving up for today. I've wasted too much time :(

    I'll try again another day.

These are filling the front garden with lovely scent.

I've recently put these hazel structures in the front garden and we are growing sweetpeas up them. The ceanothus in the background (centre right) was in full leaf and bud the other week and now it has died

Last spring we removed a large specimen conifer from here and the new planting is developing well.

Another tree came out from here.

The wisteria is just coming into flower.

Poppies have self-seeded all the way along the gravel edge between the lawn and the patio.

This magnolia has sheltered under the willow tree for over 30 years. It blooms late and continues all through summer.

When the flowering cherry tree died I covered it in chicken wire and the montana loves it.

Lovely, Shiney. Not much in my garden at the moment .. possibly because I have dug most of it up! But here is Pulmonaria 'Opal' -

An unholy thicket of Clematis armandii (sadly, over with for the year) and the supposedly winter-flowering Clematis cirrhosa -

    and Aquilegia 'Christa Barlow'-
