That is so true, a camera does slow you down and make you see things rather than just looking!!

There's some really great images now, with more colour as the season starts and peoples camera skills are galloping along.:hapydancsmil::hapfeet:

I just love Aquilegias, otherwise known as "Grannies Bonnet! and once in the garden they rarely leave. Here's some of mine in the borders with all the different colours:

They are beautiful Armandii, especially no 5, the red and white. Are they self sown or named as I reckon you could trademark ( don't think that's the right word) that one.

I just love this time of year as the early colour is just a promise of what's coming.:hapydancsmil:[IMG]

I think Clematis is so interesting to see when it's flowers are just opening.

Hi Anthony, well, they started out from a packet of mixed seeds decades ago, but they're are very promiscuous so the colour range keeps changing over the seasons. I've already registered a Day Lily a year or two ago...........and it isn't cheap! I'm quite content to just see them in the borders while I sit in the Arbour and have some to the Red Stuff as the Sun goes down.:heehee:

your Azalea which looks great by the way.... little story a girl bought one in work last spring and asked me that all the flowers dropped off and what was wrong with it !!! I told her that's what they do, she was so disappointed and thought it flowered all year through till the end of summer , she then said that was £15.00 wasted

Good evening @Jenny namaste yes its scent brings to mind of a warm summer evening in Tuscany with just a hint of citrus and bergamot, and a warm bread that's just been taken from the oven;)

I kind of feel bad for her but then i dont when she says it was £15 wasted cause shes still has a lovely plant

Luckily i bought mine knowing they would flower at this time of year and to be honest didnt have much choice in plants and that one is always in shade. This one is at one end of my ground cover roses and i have another one at the other so they flower niw and then the roses follow :-)
